Ms Zilka  Hello seventh grade students and parents!
Welcome to seventh grade language arts. The seventh grade curriculum is divided into five units: fiction, nonfiction, writing, research, and poetry. We will be studying pieces of literature in both our text and in various novels throughout the year. We will also concentrate on improving our writing skills. We will be building on the skills that are needed in eighth grade to master of writing SOL. Extended students will continue with the theme of change. This aspect of change will link to change nationally and we will concentrate on the 1960's era. Get ready for a great year! | |
